Small feet but Giant Steps

Students of Sumitra Modern School took all possible initiative to create a few awareness among their seniors Parents and other visitors:
* NO to poly bags and YES to Paper bags
* NO to junk foods and YES to Eat fresh, green vegetables and healthy foods
NO to being extravagant and YES to respect the hard- earned money by Parents.
* Meaning of Bargaining
Parents and visitors were amazed to see their performance, Confidence and determination to spread awareness.
Chief guest Nayab Tahasildar and GIC Principal extended their plaudits to such beautiful initiative which is the need of hour.

World Nature Conservation day

On account of World Nature Conservation day on 28.07.2019 our Pre- Primary students at Sumitra Modern Academy geared up for a Parade against Plastic. Children prepared hand made paper bags out of old newspapers which were then provided at General stores in Sitapur to motivate usage of paper bags instead of poly bags.

Movie Screening of the Jungle Book

Movie Screening for the Primary wing. Children of Sumitra Montessori and Sumitra Modern Academy enjoyed viewing the film "The Jungle Book", followed by an interesting and carefully designed quiz pertaining to the movie.

A fun activity which enhanced the observation and retaining power of the children, students and teacher's both got a wonderful way to bond together beyond the classrooms.
